Tokyo Subscription Concerts Maestro Salon
The Maestro Salon is an event where the conductors of the Tokyo Subscription Concerts talk about the highlights of concerts and how to enjoy them. Participants can hear only here numerous behind-the-scene episodes such as the conductor’s feelings for a particular program, inside stories of rehearsals. The event is open to Tokyo Subscription Concerts regular members and those purchasing one-day tickets of the Tokyo Subscription Concerts of that month. Application is required in advance at the Service Center (price:1000 yen with drink and confectionary). Maestro Salon is held at the Tokyo International Forum (in front of Yurakucho Station) every Tuesday of the week basically when the Tokyo Subscription Concerts perform. picture

Yokohama Subscription Concert Orchestra Guide
The Yokohama Subscription Concert organizes the “Today’s Orchestra Guide” by music critic OKUDA Yochimichi at the lobby prior to a performance. It is popular for its easy-to-follow introduction to concert highlights, conductors, and concert soloists blending bits of fun episodes. The 15-minute guide starts at 5:30 pm at the first floor foyer.
